Guadalajara, Mexico In the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16, Guadalajara (Chivas) defeated their traditional rivals, América, 1-0. This match marked Chivas' first under new coach Gerardo Espinoza and took place at Akron Stadium.
